The only thing necessary for the persistence of evil is for enough good people to do nothing

Blog Changes

As you might have noticed, there have been quite a few changes here over the past few days. I have a new theme called “Amazing Grace” and I have been delving into php and css code. I am finally beginning to get it.

You can see my efforts at design with the rotating images at the top of the page. They are some of my Roma exhibition pictures. I will add more later. It’s a great feature because every time you come back here, you will see a new picture !

I don’t want to bore you with all the details but I just want to say that, although it’s been hard, I am happy with the results so far. I hope you are too.

A friend of this blog wrote to me recently about reaching a wider Greek audience. I have posted about this several times in the past asking if someone was interested in doing a mirror site in Greek. This would have been a ridiculously difficult thing to do and (of course) no-one has been willing to do it! I am very aware of the fact that not everyone speaks or reads English. I have had a google translate tool on the blog for ages but I have made it more accessible now. It’s at the top of my sidebar. Just hit “Read this blog in ????????” and viola ! Instant translation into Greek.

Please let me know if there are any other features that you would like to see here, if you are experiencing problems viewing this blog or you spot any mistakes.

Thank you so much for your patience during these days of change.
Yes I can !

    @ Zardoz

I’m so happy that you like the new layout! That makes me feel like the effort is really worth it.

I know the translation is a bit lacking but it’s the best solution I could find.

Thank you for your kind compliments.

Its amazing how far we have all come in the past 4 yrs or so – those early days of tentative baby steps to adulthood and where next – stay well!

The new layout is absolutely beautiful. Maybe I’ll start reading here rather than through Google Reader. But the Reader means I never forget!

Thank you for your compliments, sokari and Amaliada. I’m very happy that the general opinion on the new layout is positive. I will try not to get lazy and add new pictures every now and then.

    Happy blogging!
